not working for P990i - illegal device pin

why is SE keeping the goodies to P1i? "forcing" P990i owners to upgrade?

Such a shame...

I wished they provide BBC 4.0 working for P990. But they prefer P1i that
lacks a real BB keybord such as p990.

I really don't understand SE !

But what advance does BBC v4 make over BBC v3.55?

It can't really be forcing if the previous version still works for the P990i (hopefully it does, what with the recent update that is!). To completely remove and make unavailable a working BBC client would certainly be forcing, but I don't see that happening soon, do you?

a long list of improvements, off hand I can recall
- blackberry browser for serving company intranet vis MDS
- wireless contact sync
- enterprise wireless activation
- setting out-of-office
- removing of 32k size limit of sending / downloading attachments
- etc etc

by not providing software updates is "forcing" owners to move

I use blackberry internet service (BIS) and have 4 email accounts, which show up in my "Inbox" on the today screen. They are shown as, e.g., abc@yahoo.com or abc@gmail.com. Is there any way to change this to show just as "Yahoo" or "Gmail"??

Ok here is the crack:

Im on vodafone, my phone arrived today, not from vodafone.

My phone had bb connect pre installed.
- Open bb connect Press "more"
- Register handset "register now"
- You pin will then be updated
- Go to vodafone blackberry area online (login)
- Add Device
- Enter PIN and imei
- Then you all done

Hope this helps anyone.
