dont forget the flushed screen! makes the w960 more finger-friendly. but then again....p1 is available now. wonder why the prices are sooo low compared to the first 4 p-series phones. i hope it's not buggy and therefore wont drop prices like mad.

they are both the same in terms of software & i find the w960i sexy and the P1 really butt ugly especially the keypad design.

anyway every 1st release of a phone there will be always bugs in it. the p1 now has bugs being reported like it does not start up completely.

Also in the same predicament but I've waited so long for a phone worthy of upgrading to that I'm really trying to hang in there for the W960 as for my needs I think it will do me slightly better than the P1i... though there's not much in it to be fair. The SE store is currently showing December as a release date though...

I get it now...

about the december release, the W960i is slated for Q4 release this mean any from september to december, but for me, I feel it will be here in september....

note that SE store stated the last month on the official release quarter, P1i had a Q3 as official release, so they choosed september as this is the last month in Q3, so SE Store is not that trusted...

Why dont you try the CPW swapit deal thing, get the P1i now and then change to the W960i after 9 months?

then you get the chance to use both, 18month contract though?

it's worth enquiring..

Lunion,

that would be an option but cpw cant offer the o2 long weekend contract and customer support is not the same o2 department...so i was told by o2 online.

if i get p1i on the o2 contract i want it will be 18month contract, so if the w960i gets released early, like next month for example..id be gutted.
