its a shame that they've drop the flip/keyboard on the newer models - it means those of us who've got quite used to this will be looking elsewhere... unless of course SE decide that the p990i will be replaced by something else ?

Don't undertand the logic behind this... its like you have a pc with vista and 2GB memory and state that you cannot run visa with just a pc and 1gb
And per my thinking behind this, there are several people that stated both phones have the same firmware. If that is true, then this should be possible and has nothing to do with the ram or the cpu. Its about the operating system and features. And they are identical so far.
But then again, of course we won't get that. Its like some people were big mouthing throughout the last few fw updates that 'they have already the next fw and that will blow us away... and so on blah blah...'. At the end, I always said that SE will never do that. I was right. No new features, only bug fixes and then fixing of messed up bugs with the next fw. So SE did not give us anything and won't either in the future.

The only weak points SE has are the two features specified in their white paper but not implemented yet on the P990:
1- Animated wallpapers
2- Opera plugin programs
If you are out to get SE, that's a good point to start.

what i can say about se. i am really disappointed with this firemware. i was expected more from se. if it the last firemware and they didnot give us next good firemware i never by se until thei made the phone wich will have gps,can playng swf files,will have more faster spu and more ram and more internal memory
