BA lost my bag before, and I never bothered since then to fly with them. Goodluck with the 4th bag...just out of interest you might want to ring the hotel were the 3 bags turned up too, as there is also a high probability that the 4th bag might have been sent there.
I know its a long shot but dont rule it out with BA. seeing as they recycled the baggage numbers dont take any chances.

Thanks for the replies guys!!!
I was thinking about putting the P1i in my carry-on but then there is the one carry-on per person policy in London. So space is tight with my carry-on. I decided to hand-carry my laptop (I can't never lose it for work reasons, P990(since I am using it and have all my travel info stored on it), and PSP (for killing time) and my camera (so I can take pictures on the way). Oh well, I took it for granted that check-in luggage will simply show up like they should. Little did I know how often BA loses bags.
And what really pisses me off is that BA loses bags way more than chance levels. They are the worst in any European airlines. LHR (Heathrow) is owned by BA and working at like 30% over capacity. And BA staff has little regards on handling luggages. How could the pilot decided to leave knowing 89 bags are left behind????? Personally I accept flight delays more than missing bags. And knowing LHR having a missing luggage crisis, and the pilot still chose to add 89 more bags to that instead of delaying the flight. This really shows how much regard BA has on your bags.
Not one single person got his bag(s) that day flying on that flight. We all waited at the luggage claim for over an hour before heading to report missing luggage. Reporting took another hour or so (there was a long line of people, surprise). We all wasted additionally 2+ hours at the airport for the missing bags. With 2+ hours, they could have fixed the belt problem at Brussels airport and rightfully loaded our 89 bags on the flight.
And apparently, BA loaded cargo spaces they sold before loading our luggage. Meaning BA made the full amount of $$ with my flight: cargo space and passengers on broad (missing luggage of the passengers is relatively common for BA's business role anyway).
The more I came think about it: THIS IS EVIL BUSINESS MODEL.

Hey for any victims of BA's luggage-missing-is-OK business model, I have included how to call British Airways cheaply using VOIP on my blog

GOOD LUCK

Sorry to be picky but Heathrow airport is owned by BAA and not BA. They are seperate companies.

I don't think they have recovered since that incident they had a few months ago, this seems to be an ongoing thing now unfortunately. Will they ever get back to normal?

BA have a SINGLE PIECE of hand carry limitation - BUT laptop bags can still be carried in addition to this.

Passengers travelling to the UK only
There are currently restrictions in place for passengers departing from the UK or connecting onto another flight in the UK. Please see above for further information.
These allowances apply for all passengers entering the UK only:
* one standard-sized bag - maximum size of the bag, 56x45x25cm (22x18x10in)
* plus one laptop or briefcase
NB. You must be able to lift your bag unaided into the aircraft overhead locker.
Cabin crew will assist customers with additional needs.
I always carry my rucksack with my MacBook and the the work laptop in a laptop bag onboard with me.

@Marc_SE
But if you are boarding any flight in London, you can only have ONE carry-on (and laptop bag counts as one).
I was told to put my laptop case into my carry-on when I transfered a flight through London.

I think maybe you have got confused
Heathrow along with all the other major airports in the UK is owned by BAA (British Airports Authority) not BA (British Airways). The two are very different companies.
I would just keep on and on at BA, make a big thing out! They might pay up just to 'shut you up and make you go away' in the end, I've heard that they have done similar things before.

Actually, as you were transferring via London Heathrow, that would be correct. As I reside here, I've never really thought about it like that.
