I agree it's certainly not as intuitive as S60, Iphone, or Blackberry....but it's just so beautiful LOL....

Dragoneye is right, having multiple options to use the phone is considered as user friendly, because every person has different taste, some like to use the sylus, some likes touchscreen etc.
I think sony did a good job in releasing this phone. I can't wait to come home, my phone was already delivered today hehehehe

But I think that's the point....you can't just use the keypad to do all the things and you can't just use your fingers either. Even to make a call you have to dial with keypad and press call button on the screen. Listening to music I don't think (maybe it's possible, but I haven't found a way) to change songs without using the touch screen or scroll wheel. I think that's the point about the not being user friendly......don't get me wrong I don't mind it that much, but I can see how some can see it this way, especially coming from s60.

You can make a call by just enter the numbers and then hit the OK button. You dont have to press on the screen

Personally this seems a weird excuse to get rid of what is an excellent all round phone.
It has a very simple to use multi interface, you choose which input type suites you best and use that.
Strange Complaint.

Yes but how often do you do that? 99.9% of the time I'm dialling people from my list of contacts. I don't even know most of the numbers in my phonebook off by heart, my phone remembers them for me!

I agree with tkao. Theres many input methods but all have something missing.
The jogdial does everything except change tabs and soft keys.
The qwerty does everything except scrolling and soft keys.
The ts is the most useful. Can do everything but scrolling is more difficult then jogdial and typing is more difficult than the keyboard.
Then theres things like the mp3 player where many people change tracks without looking. The ts is useless there. The jogdial doesn't let you know how many tracks you've skipped. The keyboard is not used.
There are other things that don't make sense either that aren't bugs. But all in all using your thumb on the screen and the keyboard works well enough for most things.

i think they could make it more complete.. for all the 3 uses... as some people don't like the mix and match... this is where palm os is solid... there treos you can do everything via ts or everything via dpad...
i've complained about this before in my m600i review... i've gotten use to it now... but these things se needs to think out for consistency and logical reasons...
