I was wondering about it because there's also a plus sign, along with the minus and comma signs, on the "z" button. I tried pressing and holding the zero/space button while I was composing a message, and it worked like a "tab" button instead.

So, the plus sign on the zero button works when you want to dial number. Cool.

And yeah...
I already knew about the International Codes and the Plus sign.

Thanks!

My space button feels odd but other than that all ok. Do they get worse over time? No creaks yet, can you explain your creaks a bit better so that I can look for them? Also, does your shortcut key on the right had side of the handset move about if you just place your finger on it without pressing? Mine is loose.

the whole board down centre column of keys moves back and fourth as if it's not been stuck down adequately. it's pretty much always doing it rarely not then starts and i' not a heavy typist. it feels cheap and sometims the 5 key doesn't respond. think i'll have to try and get it changed but that's going to be a struggle knowing the supplier i used.

Moves back and forth? Do you mean up and down? So it's not the buttons themselves, more the actual board not being adequately installed? You say this has just started happening, how old was the phone when it started?

Phone is a week old. The assembly appears to move back and fourth or front to back if you prefer. Right down the centre and has now spread to the next right and left column. Only ones not affected are the very outer edge. If you take off the battery cover the housing is pretty thin and 'ballooned' there too and will creak if touched let alone pushed. All in all they have cut corners on the inards of this thing! In no time everyone's will start quacking like a duck in true SE style.

This is my first SE and to be honest, the build feels exemplary. I've had a string of Nokias over the years and they creak out of the box! I hope my P1i doesn't start creaking etc but it seems ok just now.

Got the first bit of damage on mine... Little dent/scratch on the metal casing to the right of the screen, think i may have rolled over onto it when i fell asleep yesterday afternoon... and one of the metal rivets on my jeans scratched/dented it!

Oh well, its christened now!
