Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to give an update. I contacted SE by e-mail (which they failed to respond to) then by phone. The guy on the other line was very nice as usual, though he didn't have many solutions. Other then asking me to see if there was a firmware update, he could only speculate on what the problem might be. The good news is I've asked him to forward it to the "relevant" department handling this. I also told him to watch out for this problem and read the posts on Esato. Who knows, maybe there'll be a press release if enough people complain. Anyways, don't forget to let ur SE office know ur having this problem with ur 3 week old phone T_T

On the other hand, the fact that everybody has the same greenish tint on the same place might indicate a software issue. If it was mechanical one might see some more variation (wishful thinking here). Have it as well btw.

Any new developments? Mine seems even worse then the one in the picture above. In well lit areas, the green tint is less noticable, but as it gets darker, the tint is more evident on my p1i.

i just get a decent unit regards hardware and now i've noticed it on mine. it is actually very green and i'd say much more than a tint. it completely changes the colour of my dog's fur!
