Hi All,

I have some files of .MP4 but cannot play them on my P990i on its original player or even on DivX Player.
Anybody can advice, what's wrong ? Is it something related to the bit rate ? If so, what is the best bit rate for .MP4 ?
Thank you.

Rgds,
Andika

Try m3: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=136929&start=0
I have converted a DVD and can play back the full length file, about 100 minutes. I think it is the best converter available for the P990 and it's free.

Hi Makbil.... The link to the installer in this page doesn't work....

I gave up on the SE Mediaplayer! I use the free DivX Mobile Player instead, works great. For conversion you can use just about any converter as long as it supports DivX. I have changed some settings in my converter, such as size (320x240), letterbox if 16:9, maximum bitrate (video around 600 kbps and audio 96 kbps).

Finally, one single file, good quality, no problems!!!

i have not problems with either...its a matter of knowing how to encode the files...if people canīt find M3, SUPER will do just fine for MP4īs. Then there is smartmovie and divxplayer for avi, divx, xvid

i watch mine using the divx player, convert the movies to divx, the sounds and video is much more synchronised. Only problem is u cant watch them with headphones coz the divx player app starts freezing wen using headfones. oh, and u have to keep the screen from turning off aswell, lol
