Mine started squeaking on day 2/3 after light use. No vibrate, I hate that tinny motor sound! I've had phones that creak more, sure, but I was hoping the P1i was premium build.

Rarely used vibrate since getting the p1. Better not be pulling my phone apart though!

I use the vibration mode a lot, but the phone was squeaking almost right out of the box.

My wife has a new K610 and it started squeaking after just 3 or 4 days.

I have two work phones, nokia and they are still solid as a rock.
I like SE better, but I really hate the squeaking !

What to do!!!

No (noticable) squeeking here yet... But then again, my N73 also squeeked right out of the box, had to tighten it with a piece of paper. So it's nothing new and happens with the more expensive models from other brands too.

The keypad on my P1i has started creaking/squeaking - has anyone elses? It's very annoying!

Becareful while disassembling the P1i, the keypad flex breaks easily. I reccomend you take it to the nearest service center and ask them to fix it, since no one has opened the phone yet.

No squeaks on my P1i yet but...

Anyone else's p1 have a loose camera cover? By camera cover I mean the plastic above the 3.2 mp camera (I bet most think the camera lens is unprotected ) Mine keeps poping out slightly on the jog wheel side.

I'm returning mine tomorrow to be replaced but as I haven't done anything to cause this I'm wondering if this is a design problem and likely to happen again.

Cheers

It's the same on mine, I think. The plastic is a bit loose - if you press down on one side, it shifts a little. The entire camera module is a bit flakey, if you ask me. And the phone would've looked a bit better if the camera had been hidden away, imo.

The camera is a distinct afterthought and I'm disappointed in it. It moves around in the housing and combined with the green tint issue is a real 'returner' if there was anything out there to compete at the price level. N95 had and sent back and can't afford that E90.
