It should do mate!!!

Jog Dial Up, *, Jog Dial Down, Jog Dial Down, *, Jog Dial Down, *

That should get you into the Service Menu, from there go into Service Information, SIM Locks, and as Masseur said the three padlocks should be open with a value of 5 on the right...

Nope, not a sausage. I'm sure you're missing out some piece of crucial information.

Nope... Just re-read my post and followed the instructions and its definately right...

You need to be on the Standby screen when you start this sequence and its best to do it with two hands so you get the timing right... Right hand holding phone with thumb on Jog Dial, left thumb ready to press * key (as in left of 0)...

Hang on, you've put 3 stars when Masseur only put two. I've not tried it your way.

Another vote for unlocked from here - a mate tried it with his handset this weekend and no simlocks.

It's quite hard to tell if the padlocks are open, does having a mm spare on the rhs signify that they are? What does it look like when they're locked? I do have the no.5 though. Am I right in thinkinh ANY sim will work, including those of the '3' network? Or just VODA, O2, T-Mobile and Orange?

You just cant get the Moderators these days!!!

@sunking101...

The number 5 indicates its unlocked... If you have three 5's on the right then any sim card should work... Including 3...

What's the significance of "3 fives"? There is only one SIM line of text and one 5 next to it.
