I have never had a problem with orange and would not move away

true they dont release every phone, they never have

Just get the best phone you can for free, say an N95 or something, list it on ebay, and by a sim free p1 that way there are no customisations to worry about!

I've been with O2 since 1995, well they were Cellnet in those days. Never had any real issues with them.

Me too. O2 are fantastic. Great network coverage, they always stock the best phones and they don't put any branding on or lock them!

hmmm ok, good idea, unless liek me you want insurance for your phone because youre a clumbsy nitwit

Plus dont want the hassle of selling a phone especially for lots of money - it'll backfire - it always does with me...

I don't understand what Orange are up to in terms of the release, or should I say lack of release, of high end phones?!

I've previoulsy heard that they are not planning any more in the SPV range, they are not going to bring out the excellent Nokia E61i and now apparently they are not supporting the P1i.

Anyone aware of any information to the contary?

@mkouk

Sorry but that couldn't possibly be the reason that Orange failed the P1 as it doesn't even ship with the VOIP app that was announced. So far the only Network to have taken the P1 is 02 but as they charge £3 for 2mb or £5 for 4mb that makes using data extremely expensive IMO and hardly good value compared to 1gb for £7.50pm with T-Mobile. So how ever good some of you think 02 are when it comes to Data charges they are by far the worst of all the UK Networks closely followed by VodaFone @£7.50 per month for 120mb after which it is £2per MB.

We use T-Mobile at work. Their network coverage is a joke. I could have whatever data charges I like on T-Mobile, the reception would mean I never use anything anyway.

You get what you pay for in life though.
