Just for general info, there's a useful list of Jot characters here - http://www.cic.com/support/guides/input/jot/characters.html

and symbols here - http://www.cic.com/support/guides/input/jot/symbols.html

I'm pretty sure they're shown in the phone's help files somewhere too - they certainly were on the old P800 and P910 anyway.

The "jot" function for me is the best form of writing using the stylus on any PDA/phone I have used.

As mentioned by Boinng, the P800's lack of text entry via qwerty or T9 made users very good with Jot and is still my preferred method of writing an sms in UIQ3, especially when people are watching as they are often amazed by it!

Yeah, Jot is really good once you get used to the required keystrokes...

I used to use it all the time on previous P series as I had come from a Palm background so was used to the Graffiti handwriting recognition system they use... Very similar...

Didnt use it with the M600 and now the P1 because of the full qwerty, also I find it harder to use with the shorter screen as you have less space to write lowercase letters than with the larger old P series displays...
