I'll have to point out, that the browser on my P990i, aswell as my brain cells, are functioning very well.

the current opera browser isn't bad... but i think opera mini is better as well.. can't wait to see opera 9.. but right now the s60 nokia safari browser is clearly the best...
if the p990i had more ram the browser would run better as well... are you making sure you're using a large cache.. it helps a little...

Using the latest version R6E28, I have no problems whatsoever surfing the web using the built-in Opera over WLAN or GPRS, which is invoked from RSS reader application as needed while I listen to the radio or some mp3s.
There is always a chance for a restart or applications closing but I have only had 1 case where RSS needed to be closed due to heavy graphics on the web site.
Although I also like Opera mini, there is one thing you need to be aware of, don't ever access any pages where you have to enter personal information such as user ID/password.
I wonder how Opera 9 will be like and whether we will be able to get it for our P990.

hi, i am mostly "happy" with the built in opera but i have to say that i have never tried opera mini (i will soon because i have read very good comments) but one thing that dissapoints me is that whit my old P910 i could have acces to windows live hotmail (not mobile) but with p990 i had to return to regular hotmail because it doesnt supports it. but the landscape option is very helpful.
