For the K800, things seem to calm down.
As I have recoded all the songs Friday night to equalize and raise the sound level (a little), I reformatted the card with a card reader and that seems to help.
I used the Media Player quite intensively this weekend and didn't have any hanging or loss of lists. (I keep my fingers crossed)
If the K800 stays as stable as it is, I'll try the same trick on the Z550.
A small question: is there any way the create play lists on the computer and then inject the in the K800. Doing this on the phone with nearly 1400 songs is a bit "heavy"...
Thanks

Hi,
Since I reformatted the card, about a week ago, I haven't had any trouble. Everything works like a charm on the K800i.
So I would say, don't worry, go ahead..

Please to read that you have no problem with those 4GB cards and the K800i... but what about the Z550?

My wife didn't use the media player lately. I might see this weekend what's happening.

I also have a K800i and a Z550i with 4Gb M2 each one, and neither of them gives me any troubles. Z550 has like 700 song in m4a and my K800i only about 400 song (but in much better quility), what I always do before using the M2 is to format them on my phone (in order to make the file struture in the memory card) and put audio files in Mp3 folder. Thats all
Cheers
