Nah. If they can't fix the problems of the current OS, there's NOTHING that would indicate they'd do better with a new one. They need to fix alot of bugs for the P990 and P1i to repair the reputation of the P-series, otherwise very few would buy future models.
I'm crossing fingers they'll fix the most critical problems until W960 is released, as It'll probably be my next phone.

K850 because of its looks,5mpx cam,walkman 3...and since the rumors of optical zoom are are out,nokia will launch something...to counter that k850 with optical zoom will come and .... K850 prices will fall soon.

The above mentioned reasons are why I posed those questions. You see when I bought the P990i I expected that I would have a stable,stylish,up to date smart phone that
would support and update for a while. However the related bugs and deficiencies in it and what I am hearing about the P1 is leaving me sceptical. I am even now looking towards Nokia (I won't though).
The worse part for me was all the lost value of the phone. I bought mine for $521 in April only to see that value crash a couple of months later.
What I want really is a smart phone with storage capability for at least 8Gb,good amount of RAM 128 or more,Quad band is a must,at least 3mp camera and anything else they can come up with.
Is there really a coming P3i? And might it look like?

If that's the case then there is one and only one option for you... W960...
