It's a tool included in Windows. Just go to Start -> Run -> type regedit and Enter.

As it looks like you do not know regedit, be very careful as you can kill your PC with this.

If you follow FreeBird's instructions exactly, there's no problem. It's not complicated, just make sure you haven't mis-typed anything and you put in the right directory where Update Service is located.

So if you are unfamiliar with the registry you should make a backup first:

Start > Run > regedit > File > Export

This will save the current registry to a file and in case you have any problems you can restore it just following the steps above and 'Import' the file.

This one is a little bit more involved:

1) Start regedit.exe
2) Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
3) Right mouse click on Uninstall -> New -> Key
4) Name this key "{5E977DEC-5BB4-44C7-9FE5-9357D2DB4FCB}" (without the quotes but including the brackets and be sure that you put the name exactly as shown)
5) Right mouse click on this newly created key from step 4 -> New -> StringValue
6) Name of this new StringValue must be "InstallLocation" (without the quotes)
7) Doubleclick InstallLocation and put in the value data field the following string "C:\Program Files\Sony\Disc2Phone" (also without quotes). If you installed the Disc2Phone software in another location on your PC, update the above value accordingly.

Have fun
