I've decided to go with the 580. If all else was equal I may have gone with the 880, but I can get this for a third the price, and the sliding style is cooler than the candybar type phone. Plus I like that the slide protects the camera lense from harm.
So I'll be getting my phone in a few days. Is there anything that I should download to improve upon it? Or what all is out there for me to download to play with and customize the phone?

An update. I got my w580 yesterday, and so far it's utterly awesome, at least compared to my last phone. Everything is working great *except* for the internet. Earlier today I had no trouble browsing around for the heck of it just to see some pages. I then decided to come home and sign up for an internet access plan so I don't get creamed on usage charges. Now it doesn't work at all. It tries to connect, can't, then tells me I have connection problems. Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Chances are, there's nothing wrong with the phone, it's the settings you have to look into, especially when it has worked fine before as you mentioned. See if it's on transfer mode or phone mode if you're connecting it to your PC to browse the internet. It won't connect in transfer mode.
