@rockygali.
during that time...
my heart beat : boom boom boom
i was so desperate to find all possible way to return the font...
luckily, after 3 hours,i manage to get it back...
my heartbeat goes back and my teeth showing

@edkiasu:
for my case: change the values of fonts.xml
to the one i posted above.

i have posted 3 example of fonts.xml above.
i believe, one of your current fonts.xml must be one of those

okay2..
its very simple...
you have the fons.xml right?

right click on it, choose open with > notepad.

just change the values there and don't forget to save....
soon after that. try uploading the fonts.xml alone to your phone...

yes. u might try using the euro one.
but unfortunately, all the apac fonts will be gone (i.e. chinese)

u mean that when u change the values of to chinese,
you font is different from original?

it means that when u mod your phone, apparently u delete your very original fonts.. thats bad news.. cause in my case i did not overwrite the chinese fonts. just change the values of xml to my own font name.

hmmm... that means in order to get the phone back you should reflash your phone... or either, find a chinese font with you...

actually, i'm finding a way to backup my chinese font so that i have safety and i could post it to you... however i don't know how to use FAR....

Nono... i didn't replace anything... Just now i edited the font.xml of the custom font, so it doesn't work.. The font like only can show 'a' and 'e' in very small size.. Now i use back the euro one, and follow your way, it works!

have you tried reading your inbox...

has the fonts there when you read an SMS message got bigger?!

coz i have also stumbled on that dilemma. tho i did not deleted my chinese fonts... they were there. just copied some of my own fonts onto the directory.

after that... i renamed my fonts back to the original ones... sadly.. when im reading my SMS messages. fonts there seemed to get bigger.. not the original small ones.. i mean they are bigger as big as the size of the sender font.

have you noticed that?!
