Nope. The P800 screen is only larger, nothing more. AFAIK the P800 has a TFT PASSIVE matrix display, whilst the 7650 has an ACTIVE TFT display. Haven't tried the P800 yet, but I would think the 7650 screen is clearer/brighter.

OK the 7650 is better because you can buy it in your local phone shop & thats always a good feature. . But i`ts not the phone for me,i will get a p800, more or less the day it`s available. for LOADS of reasons & one of those reasons, which i might ad is always overlooked when arguing over the size, ie.which is the biggest 7650 or p800...when the keypad is removed from the p800 it`s a fair amount thinner,but when using the 7650 to write a sms it`s about 50mm longer,thats not just big, thats C**TING BIG.

the 7650 is a first of its kind, the next will be 7650i and 3650.
the P800 is more advanced its an answer to the 7650 and motorola accoplia 008. its about every you need, i know i'm going for one. i've seen the 7650 and its good but not great i prefer my T68 whit accessoires. but the P800 is the best phone around. and the price will be 600€ that's not much about the same price as my T68 when it came out one year ago. what good is it when you have a 7650 en theres a 7650i comming out whit a bit more functions? the P800 is the best of all 3 nokia's not even the new communicator will kill it. and a touch screen thats one of the best things there is.

Go the 3650- i think that's the way to go, but you'll have to wait for that as well, but not as long as the P800.
Also some people think the 3650 is damn ugly- i disagree. I'm hoping to get my hands on one mid week. The added memory, and revised features makes it better than the 7650.

I read earlier that the 7650 is a smartphone and that the P800 is a phone/combo. That statement clearly clarifies the difference. So why are people still comparing them? Thats like comparing an apple and an orange (yeah both are fruits but they have different tastes). Both phones have different targeted buyers. Here where i come from, mostly young teenagers are buying the 7650 coz of the cam,mms,games,sms while businessmen wait for the P800. Lets wait for the new communicator then start comparing.

@Raven
I'm almost 100% sure that the Nokia 7650 uses a STN screen. And I found among a lot of other links this:
http://www.ocworkbench.com/2002/nokia/7650/p1.htm
The P800 screen is much brighter with better colors than the 7650, and yes I have tried the P800 in real life for about 30 mins.
