I'm in Jordan and the phone is barely a week old, bought sim-free. It's guaranteed by the dealer here for a year.

In that case I'd go to your dealer first as you have had the handset for such a short period of time, I would try and get a replacement rather than have S.E. repair it. Of course, if all else fails then contact the manufacturer.
