Is it possible to modify the media player itself and add the option for albums?

There is a BIG bug, I had to advance through the tracks like 20 times before the Walkman background appeared, until it did it was just black (not the normal colour of K800 media player).

the mistake comes from copy/paste when I wrote my post...
But walking through a phone with far, you can see only existing folders... and far doesn't care the copy/paste errors.
So it doesn't solve my problem or my question...

you can get the sizes by the k810 etxracted images..i have them extracted somewhere too.
but the background just goes away after i have closed the walkmanplayer and the standard one comes

The skin folder is I think a dead end. The skin folder is only used for walkman versions imho, I don't think K800 has actual code in main firmware to support skins (media player is also smaller in size than the Walkman player). It has been tried already, by putting skin.xml and gifs from W850, but nothing happens. It's possibly worth a look, however there is another way that will work once we start geting more vkp patches through, of patching the images in main firmware. This would be bug free way of skinning.
