I just remembered one thing I'd like to discuss with you guys:

In the most recent SonyEricsson Themes Creator P990 Homescreen shows 5 shortcuts instead of 4. I thought this could mean they were planning to put it that way in a new firmware, just like m600. What do you think?

Hello

after 1 year uploading new FW´s (R6E28 as the latest) my first impression of Oct 2006 still remains true : the RAM is too small and no FW update will ever correct that.

SE missed the chance to launch the best smartphone for 2007 due to a wrong RAM decision. (Also Nokia has launched many Symbian phones with a too small RAM e.g. N95; it is only recently that new Symbian 9.x are now released with 128MB RAM...so it is not SE wrong decision only)

What all P990 would need is a hardware upgrade kit to 128MB RAM. What a dream !

I will continue to use the P990, trying to live with the deficencies of the small RAM. I think the FW is fine now, I have had no troubles since then.

May be one day SE will launch the real successor of P990. If it is nice and has a flip, I may consider to change...

I've learned not to expect - saves a lot of hassle.

Well, I still hope in new FWs...
BTW, here in Italy, we are also still waiting for the R6E28...!
