i really really HOPE that dont do the same misstake like Nokia and make phones with build in GPS (like N95).... Nicklas Sivander (one of the leading Design people on ) explained why example P1 dosent have build in GPS....one word...battery time........i would never want a phone (like N95) who have so bad battery time, to just have build in GPS....

if you want a GPS.... buy a real one. (we have a "real" GPS on our boat, you cant compare a real GPS with ex a N95.....
(N95 gps are so much slower, etc, etc).

I don't see why a phone with built in GPS would have shorter battery life than one using an external accessory. Also phones with GPS can't officially be sold inEgypt so I don't really want built in GPS. N95 and E90 are sold but not at any of nokia's oficial dealers.

Nokia have a Carkit which has a GPS plugin that displays navigation info on certain compatible phones. have something similar coming I believe.

From the September 2007 issue of MyMobile Magazine (NZ) page 29-30:

...In terms of headsets, Sony Ericsson's Don Renwick says "we have a GPS accessory that will plug into the bottom of our new phones from December."

Edit: In fact, I just found this - HGE-100 and here on the UK website too.

Maybe this is due to the increase in the popularity of GPS in phones. I know that in Australia, the Nokia 6110 Navigatoris very popular (due probably to its gimmicky ad campaign as well).

they also have to charge the battery 1-2 times EACH day, if they use the GPS........which i NEVER could accept....
i must have much better battery lifetime then so.

once again...SO ?

one of N95 big misstakes is the battery lifetime...

just take a look how many N95 owners who is angry on Nokia because of theirs battery lifetime........you know why ?..............because Nokia "told/wrote" that N95 had MUCH longer battery lifetime then it really had...
