It could be fixed, if only there will be hackers on SE-NSE that could give us a modded P990 cam driver just like in K800,K750,K550 models

about the RDS issue can't it be fixed with a patch? just like the patching of Apple iphone's flaws?

I would guess that the reason for the lack of hacked firmware revisioons for symbian phones comes down to the very tight control/security that SE seem to have imposed upon the uiq/symbian os. It seems to me, having read what developers such as Lisa@CPS have said, that access to the low level hardware interface is extreemely limited.

But hey ho, we cam live in hope as there are some VERY clever people out there.....

I love my p990 (with the flip removed offcourse) but it's indeed very sad that they can't fix the focus issue FOR SUCH A PHONE !!!!

I get owned by low end phones with nice video mode ffs

I've had several models of ericsson's since they came out and all of them had typical ericsson issues but I just love the brand

Now with that focus-thingy SE isn't professional enough/anymore (SAGEM??) ... but my next phone will be a SE ... can't help it
