I you used to be genie paygo, then you'll be o2 online now, download the settings from o2 website, mms and gprs wap, then switch your phone off/on, if it doesn't work you'll need to contact o2 online 50pmin (

GENIE has merged into o2 online, they sent me a mail saying they would stand by my unlimited free wap/texts, as long as I don't take the piss. I've not had to change the tariff myself, I'm just an online customer now.

I got user barred too and rang for support. 9 from handset customer care and they sorted it. I seem to remember they said account didn't have mms enabled...? maybe... but they did sort it!

If you are on o2 PAYG then you will need to call up and get your phone GPRS/MMS enabled - its something we switch here.

Should be free of charge cos we are all splendidly nice fellas and lasses, dont'chaknow

unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me with o2. they can't tell what network a call is to, they charge it as a call to whichever network the number originated on. so, if you ring someone who ported his number into o2 from orange from your o2 mobile outside of your free minutes, you will be charged a x network call even though its o2 - o2!

If this is true, then I am really surprised at O2!
I hv just ported my number from Orange to O2 and
should get the first bill in just over a week.

Also, when I type my number in the o2.co.uk HELP
page, it does not recognize it as an O2 number,
soon it'll b 1month with O2.

I'll wait till I get the bill and then take it from there.

Actually, if this is happening to everyone, we should all
try and get this sorted !

Jalu, please can we hv your thoughts on this issue.

Thnx.
