Flashing it to a W580 shouldn't be a problem. I flashed my K750 to W800 sometime ago and it was dead simple.
I am really impressed with the look of it, looks much nicer with a silver keypad.

yep alex, there is a difference in hardware, the phone does not have a accelerometer, nor does it have a radio, but apart from that, its practically the same.
Lucky i dont use the radio as i listen to my 1gig of music more, but i would like to muck around with the fitness programs one day.

yes, you can change the keypad yourself, the process is quite easy, but it will cost you around $10, the upside is, you don't have to depart with your beloved s500i for repair.
