Yeah i'm using SEUS. It's currently 42% done.
After that's done i'll go outside and take the same photos with the new firmware and see what difference it makes.

OK, well I took some more pictures, and they aren't really that much better. The autofocus ones seem to be the worse, with the macro ones a bit better. The colour is also not very vibrant.
I came across a problem though. Have a look at the last two pictures in this post. The first photo is of that wall and door with the flash disabled. The second picture is of that same place, but with the flash on auto. It seems the flash isn't working very well because the timing is all screwed or something... eek.
This is the same angle as before. Notice how the writing on the signs are out of focus, even though I aimed the centre of the camera right at them.
For this one I targeted the fence down the end with the auto focus and it actually came out really blurry. The car is the sharpest in the whole picture!
This picture is the same as the one above. It is slightly more vibrant though. Taken with auto mode.
This picture of the flowers was taken with macro mode and is slightly more vibrant than the last one.

This is what I want to take a photo of, without the flash and just auto mode selected.
Now compare that to this one, which is auto mode, focussing on the same place, but with the flash turned onto auto. Not only is it out of focus but the flash lighted up jack all.

I just found an old picture that I took with my K750i.
See the quality is tonnes better than the K800i!!!

Hmm, i'm installing the Number1 2.8 Cam drivers. Hopefully that'll make a difference. So my phone's picture quality is normal for the original drivers?

Use scene settings, It helps a lot!!!!!
Daylight scene for daylight, it produces better colours. Cloudy for, well, you know, cloudy days. It will revive the colour greatly.

Welcome back!
To me, the problem photos seem to be showing signs of over-exposure for instance:
Photo 3 - the dark trees appear blurry due to the light behind and the boards in front of the Land Rovers are reflecting light which doesn't help. Perhaps an Overcast setting would help or try a different angle...
Photo 4 - the camera has adjusted for the dark colours of the Ford V8's and look what happened to the light spilling in through the trees. Same as above.
Photo 5 - still affected by background light, but has the best detail of the three IMO because the subject matter is closer to the camera.
Photo 6 & 7 - more of the same.
Photo 10 &11 (by JoJo) appears better than the two previous flower photos IMO because the light source is
behind the camera, meaning that the subject is bathed in soft light in the middle of the picture and the shadowed areas with a little bit of blur have nothing of interest in them anyway.
Note that in the final photo (K750i) the light source is behind the camera and that the fuzzy shadow areas are in the background and placed to the side not the middle of the shot. Note also the noise that is not present in the K800i outdoor shots.

OK well after installing custom cam drivers, changing the scene to "cloudy," turning on macro mode and holding the camera super still, I got this magnificent shot so I'm happy now
And even better, it's being printed out on photo paper with max dpi
I'm happy now!! =D =D
