Pardon me if I'm wrong but, isn't de-branding and unlocking the same thing? Or similiar. If you purchased it unlocked , then I believe it is already de-branded. They're trying to remove any software their network provider has put on the phone and restore it to its original/unlocked state. Unless there is a network in vegas that released this phone, yours should be completely un-branded already. I could be misinformed.

i looked yesterday, but didnt notice any generic firmwares on Davinci's site, or are the customized firmwares the generic ones?
Which one should i chose to de-brand my voda version? remembering im in australia.....

I don't think DaVinci have generic firmwares atm, just custom ones. (For the K850i)

I'm not 100% sure but I think they are firmwares made by 3rd parties or people not associated with SE or a network, so they may have 'customised' branding or no branding. Could be wrong though as I have never tried it myself...
