Depends upon the country's law that your in & the other party. Very few countries require you to inform the other party of your live recording.

That said there ARE some VERY HIGH PROFILE cases where a recording presents a significant & undoubtable evidence that the other party is the DIRECT cause of a heinous crime where no other evidence can be obtained - for more serious legal ramifications (like break & entry to suplant listening devices).

Same sort of situation if you take a SPECIFIC and DIRECT photograph of a single person and publish it for sale in any article, montage, magazine or any kind of print. However, if that person (they do NOT have to be a star) amongst a crowd of people, THEN you can get away with publishing that photo for sale.

What country are you talking about Prom1?
Most countries I know require you to infor the other party that it is being recorded if you plan to spread the recording to third part. Also in the USA it is illegal to use such recordings (where the other party don't know it is being recorded) in court.
