No way - I will never buy this crap. Although my nice camera phone just broke because my own doing, I won't buy anything that does not work the way is advertised (or at least close to that). I am afraid i will get so irritated with it and smash it on the ground. Although the problem only shows itself at night, it will bug me. And no, there is no Firmware upgrade yet. The cell is only a few weeks on the market

SE is loosing it this days BIG time. They should get their act together -

@Mario
Have you really created a thread just to have a go at the K850i when you don't even own one?

I have to say that I'm not convinced that flash photography is working 100% from my experience.
Such extreme expression of personal opinion are certainly not helpful though

Why is it OK for you all to tell us how bad the N95 was and that the K850 will kick it's arse when launched and yet when it gets launched and is full of bugs suddenly that's OK as it will get fixed in Firmware what a bunch of hypocrites you guys are.
Just look on this forum and in the short space of time since launch all the problems being reported with the K850 and most of these from SE fans who are now less than impressed or happy.
SE really need to stop the rot and get their act together what ever you say this is not the way to launch a Flagship device.
@plankgatan
How about you get real read about all the people who's K850 camera shutter doesn't open or the flash is not firing at the right time, not forgetting how many are now returning them either for a new one or something else.
Seems like SE have realeased a very buggy firmware on the K850 but strangely just like the N95 not all are effected. But seeing as you didn't accept that and claimed they were all rubbish we need to apply the same rationale here, which by your values means all the K850's are rubbish after all as is SE. What you say some times comes back and bites you so suck it up Fan Boy feel the pain because SE have screwed it up yet again.

@dog - Your HEART dude . . . your HEART

!
The lesson I learned when buying a

fone is NOT to buy initial-market-releases . . . will wait for about 3-4 months if ever ($$$ will drop too). I'm NOT sure if

have already released a model which did NOT encounter even a SINGLE problem on it's initial launch specially on the K-series

No offense, but anyone rushing out to buy the first batch should have his head examined because even a 2yr old knows how plagued with faults they are.
But its good, they are only a test bed for users like us who wait and then buy

ah........ 95% of phones have bugs when they are first released. Now its the end of the world coz its a

phone
really, to those who didnt buy the phone, ie dogmann/qvga and others complaining.... i dont get you. Why do you always complain/say negative things? You dont own the phone, nor have any intentions of buying it, so why does it affect you? Others buy it, so what? Let them enjoy it, they can find out them selves if its a good/bad phone.
Oh, just for a comparison, i probably bought 5-10 n95's from the first batch which came here, guess what, all their owners experienced little glitches, go try defend them

all phones have bugs! A lot of them have been ironed out by now, and id say a firmware upgrade or 2 and the k850 should be fine. Oh and, dont say but

release buggy phones all the time, the n73/n80 were no different..
in the case of the k850, well, what a surprise, it has bugs. It has a new java platform, some bugs were expected of course, but hey there might be more than expected. But its a PHONE! LIFE GOES ON!
