Any idea when TT7 is expected to be released?

Don't know for Symbian systems. Already out there on the standalone TT devices. The map share function, that allows you to edit roads on the map, is supposed to be very good.

I don't know about the N80 but or the N95 but only my N93 and now E61 Tom Tom 6 runs perfectly although the only Poi's i use are the speed camera's. I have no lags or stutters everything works exactly as it should actually the E61 which has an older less powerful processor and is probably the best device i have used Tom Tom 6 on due to It's large screen and loud volume. Just bought an E90 so waiting to see how well it works on that now that it works on the inner screen since the latest firmware but of course still with my Holox BT-321 GPS receiver not the weak internal one.

Maybe it's bluetooth communication issue rather than Tom Tom 6?

I've seen the E61 running TomTom. I found that it does stutter a little, nothing as bad as the N95 video on the net. Mind you my N80 was never quite that bad anyway. The P1i version is easily the same as the E61 version that I've seen running, if not slightly better.

The only people that I've known to complain about this are those that have previously run TT5, which I must say is extremely smooth in comparison.

Glad you threw in the info about the CPU speed. It's easy to get hung up on this and put it all down to the P1's CPU. This obviously isn't the case here.

As i said mine runs perfectly absolutely no issues at all it is IMO either the Bluetooth connection or a not very good GPS receiver is causing the problem IMO. That is why i made a point of mentioning it really is not a processor problem but i have read lots of people just buying the cheapest GPS they can find. The weakest links and the most important ones are the GPS and bluetooth connection any problem or weakness here will seriously effect the on screen results. I used to have Tom Tom 5 on my P910 and actually find Tom Tom 6 to be better than that definitely not worse.

In my experience of TT6 I would say the weakest point is POI's. The only time mine was running so bad it was unusable was when I had certain POI's enabled. I got rid of them and hey presto the problems were gone.

@YoungRobbo

Interesting but as i only ever run the speed camera's Poi's with audible and visual alerts i can't really comment other than i just haven't experienced any of the problems you have mentioned.

P1i's CPU is not an issue.I've checked the CPU consumption by Tomtom using Swiss Manager and it showed something around 20-30%.
Latest version of TT6 is just NOT fully compatibile with my phone.

For clarification, TT5 on the same GPS receiver using my old P910 was 3x more smoother, but now on the roundabouts i've got 1 FPS, a nightmare

@Ares

Now that would be bad news IMO as i have been using it for so long now it is definitely my software of choice, mind you with the Price of stand alone devices now getting so cheap i will just get a stand alone device if that happens although i hope it don't have to.
