Hi
After having a N95 that was on all networks I cannot understand how the P1i could fail testing. The N95 was the biggest bag of shite I have ever owned.
It was exchanged 6 times. Nothing but problems from blown earpiece speakers to constant rebooting to wobbly sliders.
The P1i on the otherhand has been superb. I will never get another Nokia phone.

@pnf1973, still, how can you predict thousands of apps for s60 v3, when, after all this time they have less than 400????
Well...UIQ3 has about half of that, with much less than half the number of devices, and much less than half of less the users...not good for us UIQ3 users, but not so bad when you compare the numbers...
However, i am one of the first to demand much more from UIQ, always did...

No i thought you meant you were saying there were millions of apps
I have to agree tho, UIQ could have been bigger than s60, its so much easier to use a touchscreen. SE really missed the boat there, if you ask me.

@Ares
It was in one of the P1 threads when it first was released that someone else stated they either worked for a Network or had spoken to them i think it may of been Orange and he was told it had failed testing so their were no plans for it to be released.

My company’s Vodafone account manager explained to me that we cannot have the SE P1 as “Vodafone will not be taking it onto the network due to it failing testing” So there you have it straight from the horses mouth so to speak.
