The branding is not as destructful as it was on the K800i, but its still bad and damages the phone. The games menu is full of un-deletable demos. ALL the Vodafone Live stuff is just awful, but as has been posted above, the worst thing of all is the vodafone live! touch-button which I'm also hitting all the time - almost every time i use the phone - so the phone spends half its time connecting to the internet by mistake draining the battery.

SE spend months testing the handset, and then Vodafone change it, ruin it and apparently don't even test it.

The ordinary punter in the street doesn't know what they're missing and how much Vodafone ruins the phone for them. The techy/geeks DO know and are annoyed by it - either way, Vodafone doesn't win any brownie points so WHY DO IT?

@roblightbody

Well at guess from what you and a few others have said so they can make lots of money from you all accidentally connecting to Vodafone Live.

The main Vodafone live page that the touch-button takes you to is free... but its still overpriced!

Could you tell me,I have also vodafone branded K850 and when I write new message,the window looks like I'm writing an mms message,not sms... Is there any way to change it?

Thats OUTRAGEOUS! How very dare they! I just assumed that SE had merged the functions. Trying to trick me into sending an expensive MMS?

Come on DaVinci - hurry up - where's the debranding when I need it!!

Vodafone has merged both SMS and MMS into one windows for some time now.
The K800 has always done this.

The reason is to give trully support for the customer so they dont have to mess about selecting either sms or mms. (For me its taking away my choice and costing me more)

Its also very clever of vodafone so when you add a animation on the sms, it automaticaly converts to a picture message you get charged for it.

Not like vodafone phones to what they do to them, so would never for this reason get a contract of them. They mess about with the software too much for my liking.

The O2 branding on the phone is none existance. If you want a pic of the main screen let me know.

The only thing they have changed is where the play now button normaly is, it just has a o2 logo to there internet, other than that its left a lone and sim free
