Oh no.........still unsure wether to attempt the upgrade to 1.11, as far as i can see i dont think there are many benefits, have you upgraded at all, if you have you'll have to show me how

dont believe what you read, it's not as straight forward as going to France and buying the phone at standard price unlocked ready for use, if it were that simple then all phones sold in France would be unlocked for any network...but they're not, so do your homework first instead of believing a few inaccurate headlines.

yeah thats what id like to do...Sell my Us Iphone and get an unlocked one from france so i can update to the latest firware without the worry of unlocking .etc.
So what sorta price are they gonna be over in france once released?

I think its most likely to be a french fantasy, if anyone is thinking that you'll be able to go and buy one and it'll just work.
The activation part is the important part in my eyes as thats when you sign up for the contract.

iphoneunlockuk have got the 1st bit sorted (to make it work like an ipod touch) and the rest of the phones functions (call and text) will be unlocked later on in the week via the phone.
Dont really wanna pay them, would rather find a free way online lol
