usd$300 is a bit pricey for a used P990i.. regardless of the condition. usd$200 sounds more reasonable.

It's a bit difficult to compare, maybe in confort mdu's country, phones are more expensive in general ? When trading the Motorola in, it seems a good buy to me. Both my husband and I have a P990i, they have the latest firmware and they work fine.

Actually, the price of a brand new p990i is a LOT more cheaper than 300usd. nowadays, it's in the $250 or eur230. and i'm on my way to buying it...

HOW used is the phone? Look inside the battery compartment and check for either: 06Wxx or 07Wxx and report back on that.
Secondly, if you can go see the box, outside the white sticker it says a line starting with DPY..... let's hear the complete line. It will state what Hardware Revision this phone is.
And lastly, check the box and inside the phones battery compartment if its Made in China or France.
And then, NO trading in for that price. Look at ebay and see that Brand New phones go for 260 - 300 US$ and that is NEW.
