@BratPAQ: Transitions are menu animations

You can see it on "more" menu easily.

By the way if you have tweakpeaks installed, you wont see any of transitions

So guys, is there any way that we can complain to Sony Ericsson about this camera problem? Or is it supposed to be like this :S

Possibly you have fault with yours?

transitions can be switched on or off in all UIQ3 phones right now, no need for Tweak Peaks...

pnf1973 the problem that i described is the same as yours. But is it normal for it to be like that? It's not the same in P990i or the other P1i that i tested.

Mine is also noticably slower since debranding/updating to the latest firmware. Is your friend's phone running the same version? Maybe it's something they broke in this revision...remember the space bar bug with the 990?

I have some update on this thread So i took the same device in my hands again. The camera was smooth and menu transitions were on. The firmware of the other phone was R9G007. I updated the firmware and the camera is in slow motion now! And transitions are gone. So it is the software. Maybe SE decided to remove menu transitions for speed-up. But i still don't get the "low light" camera slow motion thing... Why did they do it?

i have the same problem when i move my camera about the screen has very low fps really slow!! and i did a video recording and waved the camera about while recording and the screen froze for a few secs and when i played back the recording it has the frozen bit in it. im very dissappointed with my new p1i
its laggy slow and freezes. also i took some pics in burst mode with a s500i and it was quick then tried it with my p1i and to be honest i could have taken the pictures myself in manual mode quicker to be honest burst mode on my p1i is a joke!!

oh and i ran a animated gif as a screensaver on the s500i and it was fast then did it on my p1i "smartphone" and it could hardly run it
it seems that a animated gif is to much for the p1i

It seems that the white balance takes longer to adjust itself now, possibly an atempt to make it more accurate?
