Did they mention what exactly they did to the camera during servicing? For example, were some parts replaced, and if so, what were the part numbers?

Even though it's hardware related it's good that it can be corrected at the service center. The pics are much better. Can we please see some more pics???

Now I may upgrade from P990 to P1 soon.

As long as the problem can be solved without any major hassle i think its good then, so the fact that they put a new camera module in there could that mean they are aware of the Green tint and have given service centers the new modules to replace any P1 cam that comes in with that Green tint issue

Is the low light capability any better or does the image still slow in low light and does it seem to snap pictures any quicker ? ,thanks, log.

No, the image is still quite slow in low light, but the pictures are snapped quicker and better in my impression. Another thing that I have noticed: I can actually hear the auto focus mechanism and it can be felt also when the camera is focused.

I've noticed that with my (green tint) camera since the f41 firmware.

Hello everybody !
Sorry for the delay, here are the answers:
The repair took 10 days, there was no software altered during repair so I guess that they simply switched the camera modules. Unfortunately there is no additional data here, they wrote in the warranty "camera replaced" with date and that's all.

Romania, the service is not lightning fast, but the other phones I've got they handled them good. There is a company that services 90 % of the phone malfunctions in all the warranty period.
