I think the question is why are you even considering a PC? a Mac is clearly the way you want to go!
I use an iMac and it rocks!

Stable system, great software, works out of the box & boot camp - so you can still run XP or vista just as well as on any other machine (including gaming - which people constantly slag apple machines off for!). I moved to apple a year ago for personal use but still use windows everyday at work and to be honest there is no competition - given the choice I would use apple 100% of the time.

lots of options, Designs, forms, lots of OSes, lots of brands, lots of accessories from various brands and lots of users worldwide -software availability wise a zillion times more than a MAC
