5700 looks girly. But then looks are subjective.. I do agree about the sound quality.. uts too bright on the N73. (Loudspeaker)

Yep. N73 doesn't even support 4GB cards,it only supports up to 2GB MiniSD.
Id say look at the N81 or 6110-Navigator they support up to 32GB MicroSDHC

Carl Ziess means nothing. LOL then that means Cyber Shot branding means nothing too. I cant understand why SonyEricsson FANS seem to think that their phones are the only ones with decent sounds or picture quality and everyone else is no good. I seriously think they need to get a life. My experience with SonyEricsson is constant bugs poor build quality and camera quality which has been very OVER RATED. SonyEricsson menus are slow. Every Nokia i have owned i have had not 1 single problem with whatsoever. Sorry but i seriously think SE need to start testing their phones properly before release. Not mentioning any models ahem K850i & P990i etc etc. Every SE phone i have had has had really bad bugs. Got so fed up with it never going back.

Iv been using my old N73 since i lost my N95 and im happy with it, iv dropped it so many times and it still works fine, the battery last me for just under 2 days,it will die around 10 pm on the second day with reasonably heavy use, iv got a 2gb card in it so cant comment if it will take 4 or 8 gb, the camera is good and the price has seem to gone down loads in the last few weeks.

Hmm... Interesting.

I'm still considering the N73, despite it's lacking in memory card capacity.

Can any other brand offer a 2MP+ AUTO FOCUS Camera, a decent Media player, and Smart phone abilities + decent battery life and reasonable small?

Until I find one...

Compromises must be made, I daresay.

Do you usually take picts of very close objects or documents? If you donīt AF wonīt make much difference to you. If you can cope with the cam Iīd suggest you an iphone, it has 8gb of memory, good battery, amazing interface, huge screen, the best mediaplayer out there plus great apps (not only the native ones like safari, mail etc but you can get tons of apps for free nowadays and u can install them just by using wi-fi). A while back I used to look for pretty much the same things as you (smartphone, symbian, mediaplayer, cam, etc) but after playing with an iphone I was hooked and figured out what I really wanted. The iphone has its cons but apple really hit a homerun with this one, itīs worth checking out.

I love the interface of the iPhone. It's a well engineered device, but more aimed at a general consumer than me. I love the expandability or Symbian, and prefer a phone which i have more "control" over. I feel that Apple has done a great job of marketing a device that most consumers will love, but i feel it's a little to dumbed down for my taste.

Also, 2mpx non AF camera is total balls, and my use for Wifi would be very limited, as I have CAT5 in my house
