Je trouve bizarre que des pays comme l'italie on déjà le P800, et nous il faut attendre jusqu'qu 20 Janvier.
Pourquoi ? Il n'y a aucun intéret.....
Avez-vous de meilleur nouvelle que moi ? (ECS, Mobilezone)

disent, qu'ils on lancé le P800 dans ces pays où ils ont des centre de services qui peuvent maintenir ce mobilophone. Mais à mon avis, ils n'ont seulement pas les langues pour les autres pays... Peut-être des problèmes avec allemand et français... Je ne sais vraiement pas...
En tout cas, c'est triste...

@XBone: Yes, I do think that Mediamarkt is cheap in some cases (for example, I got my Parrot BT Carkit for around 50.- cheaper than in the cheapest Inet-Shop I've found.) Of course, you don't get things at Mediamarkt which are very new, they have to be on the market for quite some time before they appear in Mediamarkt's shelves.
And the other thing: I guess it's not difficulties with German or French language that makes the P800 appear later in those countries, but the people in those countries (like Switzerland, Germany) are much more "heikel" (sorry, don't know that word in English) than users in other countries... Because as for the language, I guess Greek is a "difficult" language too, and there the P800 is out already...

Well, you got 2 points there. We probably are a bit more ambitious than others, and right, greek is definitely much more complex.
The thing that bothers me about all this, is that they pretend to deliver the phones in countries only, where they have capable service-centers. But: we even have a repair center in switzerland that's fully qualified and acknowledged by Ericsson themselves, and even in our little town there is a service center that could probably handle the software-upgrade stuff. The other swiss guy (Handy) who has a pre-commercial unit even upgraded his p800 already, IN SWITZERLAND! So, dam'it, give us that phone!!!!

Ithink, the problem is not the P800 Unit and/or SE - the problem are the providers in Switzerland: Swisscom, Sunrise and Orange! As long as they have not tested and released the P800 to sell, it won't come to sell in Switzerland.

@all: Do you remember that Orange CH delayed the launching of MMS because of so called "interoperability problems"? Well, if they build up the same excuse for the P800, I'd rather learn Swedish and get one there!

You're right of course. But doesn't it sound much better to say "There are no qualified Service Centers in certain countries yet" than "We'll wait for some first experiences and then release the phone with a improved Firmware"? That's politics!
Of course there are enough Service Points here and in every other country (btw: I just upgraded mine as well, and not in a "special" or "miraculous" Service Point. Every SP that has access to EMMA II can do it!)
