:cryl . . . but .. . little-by-little and piece-by-piece I manage to save some $$$ to get me the P-series models (P800/P900/P910i) . . . and yes, now the P990i (so cheap to acquire also, considering it's features).
What I mean here is . . . at times, we should ALSO try gettin' other fone models and BRANDS too . . . not just to be stucked with one model-series . . .
Just weigh your options prudently . . . as you have said that the P990i will not be covered by warranty (2nd hand)
With your kodak-talent in taking pics from your camfones . . . I am very certain that you can ALSO make wonders OUT of the P990i's - 2 MP cam-specs . . . much better than what : plankgatan can DO with his K850i

Since you're used to K-series before now try something new i mean the P990! spec by spec P990 excels alot compared to K810 - yeah K810 could be more stable with it's JP-7 but considering the possibilities of native 3rd party apps alongside with the promise to utilize all Palm apps to UIQ via styleTap and the introduction of NSbasic for UIQ which helps alot programmers to design UIQ apps easier than ever.Your P990 will shine alot if you go for that
and P990 atm is much more mature and stable that it was used to before
Plangkatan was really a talented photographer, although he was always the main person to be thrown of such issues regarding his constant defensiveness about the SE camfone quality

I have both the p990i and the k800i. I realized after I bought the p990i that I have no need for almost all of the apps. Now I use the k800i exclusively because it is at least 50 times nicer looking than the p990i.

Id suggest going for the P990, you can get apps that increase functionality, and yep WiFi is great to use, realy fast and reliable, im sure you would get bored of K810 after a few weeks whereas P990 will keep you entertained and busy for a while i just hope you get a good P990 thats not buggy, otherwise P990 is a great PDA Smartphone, looks stylish to.

the p990 im getting comes with: original pouchboxcdusb cable1gb mspdwall chargermanualheadphonesetc
they guy said that it was used for 4 months only. its price was RD$8000.00(US$242.00). he cut its price to RD$7500.00(US$227.00). a good price i'd say, wouldnt you?

@tranced - Congrats (in advance) ! I know that you can do WONDERS with it's 2 MP camera (as you are already used with the K750i - which is almost the SAME) . . .
I hope that the CRADLE, extra stylus, screw driver ARE included in the - ETC. matey
