It's rather slow but I was able to see the whole document in PDF+ once downloaded. Takes over a minute to draw the whole document !

My mem card is nearly full but there's loads of Phone memory left! - I thought this thing had masses of RAM ?????

How come you experience that? how many apps do you left opened? afaik P1 can run 50+ applications without that notification message
can you explain more elaborately?

EDIT - I've just checked the applications - there are 2 Pdf+ applications listed: Pdf+ 1.69 that is attached to the Office stuff and if I open from there I get the old version - but when I put an icon on the screen connected to Pdf+ Standard (the 1.75 upgrade) I get the updated version... very confusing...

Or, well, the new Pdf is not really replacing the old one,
new Pdf icon is on Tools, where are all the newly installed apps. You can set it where you want. So finally you have 2 Pdf apps in the phone.

P1 is listed...
Nearly at bottom of page it says...
"The Pdf+UIQ_3x_ROM_Upgrade_1_75_05_signed.sis file [.sis, 1000Kb] is a free upgrade of Pdf+ for your SonyEricsson P990, M600, P1 and W960. This file will neither install nor run on other devices. "

I've already downloaded the file but won't install till I know more, like is it any good ie, stability wise(current version crashes with certain pdf files that's not even big at all which is baffling), significantly better, extra features etc? I don't want a redundant app on my phone that I won't be able to uninstall (can it be uninstalled btw?)

Maybe you look in a wrong place, because after install you'll have two Pdf, two icons.
Well, I checked now - 1.69(78) is the vesion actually Default in my P990.
So you look in a wrong place.
Pdf visible in the Office folder is the default one,
the new will be visible in Tools, after install.
And yes, it's significantly better, faster.
