In my area I learnt that casing is not under warranty. I wonder what is camera classified under. Is it covered in warranty?

The automated RMA system at the SE website confirms that they received my phone- that's it. No word from them on when I will receive it back. I've had to buy another phone in the interim and no, it's not a SE product.
