I sincerely doubt that would work. I set an mp3 as message tone on my phone and it only plays for ten seconds or so. But try it and let us know!

it isnt continuous though.... it just repeats the msg alert every few mins....

Well the moto's as far as i know have the 5minute beep to remind you that there is a message which is a nice if you missed it when it first played yet annoying when you know you have a message or missed call.

on motorolas, you can customise it to either beep, vibrate, or not sound any reminder at all.
some samsungs also have the feature.
