I have the same situation here in the Dominican republic.

I have a prepaid phone activated with XXXXX (can't say)

I went to activate the internet settings (SIM CARD was inside my K850)
From that point, I have free 3G internet.
Calls are deducted, as well as videocalls and SMS

But the whole internet is free, I can even tether my laptop with linux and have an "almost" DSL conenction (512kbps here).

and I'm just like you guys, wondering why....

same thing happened to me just like fbloise but I already had gprs activated for months. tried it on diff phones from nokia 6030b to n95 and it WAS great. 3.5G got up to 100KB/s, like 800kbps. I never tried videocalling.
@fbloise it was a problem with the company, not luck, more ppl had it too. some only wap browsing, others sms but full internet very few. we'll have stick with CSD
