@ Miss UK
If you suffer an abnormally large number of headaches you should consult a doctor not an internet forum. I hope its nothing serious.

The headaches are serious from what I know and have experienced. They dont last long but when they have started they are realy a hard heart pain.

I am well aware of the uses of 'out of phase' frequencies in noise cancellation, but adapting this to EMF is just nonsense. If EMF causes non thermal effects then more EMF - even out of phase EMF - will create more problems.

As far as whining noises are concerned, they are all irritating doesn't matter whether the source is screaming children or a warning buzzer on the car... FYI an every day product that uses variable pitch technology is the common or garden variety car tyre. Check out the tread blocks of varying sizes, they're not accidental.

Did you notice this on the Exradia site under 'How Angel works' ?

"Living matter is composed of electrically charged particles that are in constant motion thereby generating electromagnetic fields. These EMFs form part of the natural electromagnetic background and are characterised by random both in time and space. Biological cells do not respond to these natural fields."

Its the whole new-age 'We're all just energy and magnets can heal' pseudo-science thing wrapped up in a new package with a flash new bow for the new century. And as usual there is a product at the end of the story for you to buy to cater to your superstitions.

BTW, I've used a jack hammer on several occasions, the last being during the filming of a TV commercial. I'd prefer to listen to a Jack Hammer than Iron Maiden anyday...

The exradia solution doesn't claim to remove the cell thermal affects, it claims to remove more subtle affects that a number of legitimate 3rd party research findings have revealed through the affect on sleep.

These affects are not claimed to be thermal - all parties agree that thermal affects can only occur within a distance of a couple of inches, so having the phone at your bedside table wouldn't be able to cause thermal affects on your body. The sleeping problems, numbness, diziness and headaches that some people experience with general exposure to mobile phone EMR fields (not close proximity) are thought to be caused by cells stiffening up when under emr exposure. This is not a heating affect, it is a resonance affect, and (if the research is right and it does exist) it could absolutely be treated with emr noise cancelling.

As to it being drowned out by random noise, I also believe that possible. I've actually noticed at times when high pitched noises are present, playing music removes them from your conscious awareness (though if you strain you can still pick it out) - but since you are hardly aware of it, it's no longer irritating. I have observed this so it seem like a reasonable application to apply to emr fields.

re: Iron Maiden, you are probably right. Pink Floyd would be a better choice
