Are you using the newest version (1.6.6 as of 20.Jan.2008), and have you installed the Sony Ericsson PC Suit for Smartphone.

When you connect your Phone, does the m-Router detects and Connect to it, m-Router must be running for MPE (MyPhonExplorer) to work.

If everything is Ok, then try to change the COM port on the MPE (Go to File -> Options -> Connection).

I am getting this error with the latest version

OBEX protocol could not be initialized

OBEX Error: ERROR

I am using a M600i (UIQ3 phone) and m-router has detected phone

EDIT: oops OK I know get it..Using the Calendar mode causes this error! Everything else works!!!

I wanted to keep this topic a littlebit quiet in hope that it would be a greater surprise if its ready

Some notes:
- its currently beta and it will take a while to implement full contact/organizer support
- do what you want - but do it on your own risk
- i give no support up to symbian is officially supported

I have enought german beta-testers and its much easier for me to work with people which are speaking my language. Its not helpfully for me if i get 10 feedbacks per day cause it costs also time to answer them. So please understand that i read this thread but i'll give no answers or support (until i'm ready with all features).

I just loaded my wife's Samsung PC software and linked via USB (BT won't work) and compared to MPE it's a joke.

This program is just great much better than 90euro oxygen which actually doesn't work with my w960..

ok it doesn't support yet calendar but you can synchronize your calendar with sony's pc suite via outlook t.ex.

I'm in love with this program and i know it will come soon fully compatible with the symbians.. cuties

Sony Ericsson W960i is fully supported in Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones that costs 39,95 Euro.
