my P1 connects just fine and charges up.
You get a P1i usb device and memory stick icon and using triangle lets you navigate both the phone and the memory stick.

ive just tried again and it works fine.

however i cannot browse the internal memory of the phones i tried (my k800 just sits there and says its connected but the ps3 doesnt detect it as is doesnt have a MS in it

It will only work on the most recent firmware as the PS3 only just got external drive support. Along with DIVX support

I;m sure the PS3 will get bluetooth device support soon - it already can use bluetooth headsets of any manufacturer.
Would be cool to use the PS3 as a docking station to sync music and photos and convert videos for the phone plus use the PS3's wireless connection to enable the phone to download RSS feeds, updates, etc.

I can't wait til the future!
