I´m using 7 gb now without problems, 1gb is for my pics. But in "Phone status" the maximum that phone displays is 4gb. So if you put 3 gb you have 1gb left, and if you put 7 gb you also have 1gb left.
I have to try filling it without card reader, perharps it won´t work, but i´m lazy (need to install the phone and so on). However, it works 100% with regular card reader.

Some number here.
My old blue Sandisk stick Pro Duo is 1.9 M/s reading-2.5 writing, new M2 is 10,8-3.8, so if you compare it, the phone is faster now with 8gb than with old Pro Duo 2gb.
Speed ratio is 5,68 faster, storage ratio is 4, so the phone runs 45% faster than before, if you consider a linear function. In other words, M2 8gb works like an 1.4 MSProDuo in terms of speed, installed in the phone.
yeah, i just read somethin about it this morning

The maximum displayed memory is 4 gb, so i don´t know how it works perharps it substract in two parts, first partition and second half partition, it´s a firmware problem i think. But who cares? phone handles 8 gb. I don´t know if that causes bad function with dcu 60 transfer. I´m not going to test it for a while.
