Go for the P990. At its current price it is a bargain. P990 has camera, WLAN, a qwerty keyboard and FM radio which the M600 doesn't have.

In October 2005 I heard about the P990. Seemed great at the time!
Today? .... belongs on a museum.
Say what you want, but it's 2005 hardware!
A good advice: Always buy phones up to date.
There's none more updated than the P1. The Word Generic 1 firmware was just released, so, it's a clear choice for me.

he said his birthday is now not in 12 months (if at all...) LOL
Seriously - buy something up to date - P1i is not the best choice as it is not quadband(usa) so try something that suits you - I imagine it will not cost more than 200$+ over the m600

The P1i's inclusion of WiFi would definitely offset the lack of EDGE, I suppose...
Thank, guys!
And the X1 is nice, but it's the P5 I'm waiting for. I've used WM before and don't want to go back unless I have to.

Hey peeps there is nothing wrong with a seasoned phone. The M600 would be a great choice. You get alot of bang for your buck and the FW is matured. I have been doing just fine with 1900mhz here in the US no matter where I travelled.

I have had my M600 for almost a year now, and I'm starting to regret choosing this as my work phone. Don't know how many times I have getting annoyed at the slow menus. And the lack of WLAN is a big minus.
So a tip, don't get one.. if you want a phone like M600 now, go for P1 or some other similair model, but not M600

Do remember that

will probably not release any more firmware updates to it, even though it still contain a lot of bugs. The users could persuade

once to release new firmware to P990/M600, but I doubt it will work again

I have had the M600i for 2 years now and it's the best phone yet... True, it has no camera but I think it makes up for it in other ways. The predictive text is super cool and it can actually remember an entire message... I think the P1i would appeal more due to the increased ram, WLAN connectivity and added camera but the M600i works just as great...
